Infrastructure Manager

Key Responsibilities
- Hybrid Environment Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations and integration of both AWS cloud services and on-premises data centers.
- Performance & Scalability: Optimize infrastructure performance and ensure scalability to meet the evolving demands of our trading and financial applications.
- Security & Compliance: Implement and maintain robust security protocols, ensuring adherence to industry regulations and best practices.
- Automation & Monitoring: Lead initiatives for automating deployments, system monitoring, and maintenance processes to enhance efficiency.
- Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity: Develop and manage disaster recovery plans, ensuring minimal downtime and robust backup strategies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, product, and development teams to ensure the infrastructure aligns with business goals and supports innovative financial solutions.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring service level agreements are met.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in IT infrastructure management, with a strong background in both cloud (preferably AWS) and on-premises environments.
- Technical Expertise: Proficient in AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda) and on-premises data center operations. Familiarity with automation and orchestration tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, or similar) is essential.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional teams and projects, with the ability to mentor and guide team members.
- Security & Compliance: Solid understanding of IT security best practices, compliance standards, and risk management frameworks within a financial services context.
- Problem Solving: Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a proactive approach to resolving complex infrastructure challenges.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of interfacing with technical teams, stakeholders, and external vendors.
